Belgian Quadrupel Ale Cask

We love finding cool new creative collaborations, and for this special edition we have teamed up with our friends from Behemoth.

Their Monk Like Mary Belgian Quadrupel Ale, was aged in Pokeno Casks which had been used for marrying our Discovery Single Malt. It is a rich and fruity beer, with aromas of lightly roasted speciality malts, dried fruit, Belgian candi sugar and restrained spice.

We decided to then refill one of the casks with Pokeno Single malt, which had been fully matured in first fill bourbon barrels. The flavours of the beer have combined beautifully with the sweet citrus notes of the whisky, to create a deliciously different single malt.
